Panera's New Mac & Cheese
For my Copywriting class, I was assigned to create Facebook ads for Panera's new Mac & Cheese flavors. This was a challenge not just in choosing the precise wording but also because of the word count limitations. We were given the precise recommended word count for the headline, the copy, and the additional info next to the link. There have been studies done to find exactly how many words generate the most clicks. Too long and people won't read it, too short and people won't be intrigued enough to click the link. It's important to find that sweet spot to engage readers just enough. Below are the two ads I created, which one would you be more likely to click?
