Live Streaming

        I spent a bit of time watching live streams and found one streamer to be particularly entertaining. He goes by the handle Dakotaz and streams frequently on Twitch. If you're not familiar, Twitch is a popular live streaming site which contains mostly people playing video games. Dokotaz is certainly skilled at the game, as most popular streamers need to be, but what I found most enjoyable is his commentary during the game and the fact that he often fools around and doesn't take the game too seriously. While he does win matches often, he still takes risks for entertainment's sake and makes jokes throughout.
        I related to that style because it is often the way I play games, many people get worked up and angry if they lose. I think ultimately the reason we play games is to have fun so it's best not to take it too seriously. There were a few times that Dakotaz took risky shots, using low rated weapons or shooting while spinning in the air, and actually got the kill. He could have been more careful and would have been more likely to win, but the winning while fooling around just makes it even more captivating.
        I also appreciated that he often includes other players in his stream, he'll team up with a friend on a mic and they will chat while they're playing. Some streamers try to make it all about them and don't want anyone else to get any attention, but a few time Dakotaz even stopped playing and just stood still watching as his friend got a kill or did something funny. His humility and eagerness to just have fun was really inspiring and enjoyable to watch.
        I found Dakotaz also has a youtube channel where he posts clips from his stream, if you're not into watching live streams I encourage you to check him out there. I learned a lot about Fortnite strategies from watching him and had a lot of fun at the same time. If you haven't played Fortnite before, it is much like PlayerUnknown BattleGrounds (or PUBG) in that you drop from the sky and have to survive on a small island as a circle closes in forcing players closer together, the last man standing wins.
